Tulum has many hip and trendy eateries however I found my favourite right outside my hotel. Situated opposite Chedraui supermarket & next door to Amansala hotel (not the resort) is the very groovy Co.ConAmor cafe. My favourite Central American vegan eatery to date! The cafe is mostly vegan, with some ovo-lacto vegetarian options for non vegans. The menu is versatile with smoothie bowls, breakfast standards, rainbow rolls, sandwiches, burgers, salads and sushi. What I liked most about this cafe was its vibe… acoustic versions of popular hits play loud around the cafe creating a chilled and relaxed atmosphere. The entire cafe is outdoors with some eating areas surrounded by painted murals and shaded by large trees which sprout from the cafe floors.

A day later I popped in again, this time with two friends and we ordered an array of food including a delicious sandwich, smoothie bowl, Mexican enchiladas, and an asian Buddha bowl salad. All meals got raving reviews and we left the restaurant with clean plates and satisfied tummies.
